Janice Ochoa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, early childhood intervention, and maternal wellness. With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M International University, Janice has worked closely with children and families through roles in SCAN’s LAUNCH and Texas Home Visiting programs. She specializes in evidence-based approaches like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. Janice is passionate about supporting children and empowering women, particularly those navigating pregnancy-related challenges and early parenthood. Her goal is to foster resilience, healing, and strong parent-child relationships through compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
